NEW IN Seashore Collection

Bring yourself closer to nature with the new, simply beautiful Seashore collection by Licensed To Charm. Inspired by the wonderful natural environment of the coastline, the first pieces in the collection comprise a series of pebbles based on originals foraged from the beach. 

Collection details

The collection is based around three pebbles - small, medium, and large -  each cast from an original pebble selected for its smooth shape and wave-worn surface. All sizes are available in a soft sateen finish, in both silver and gold vermeil, making them subtly reflective and highly tactile. 

Buy them as pendants to add to a favourite chain or as ready-to-wear necklaces paired with a complimentary fine curb chain. The small pebble also features as a charm to provide the finishing touch to a figaro chainring and toggle bracelet, and on minimal earring wires to create lovely drop earrings. 

Inspiration

The seaside is very close to the founder, Maggie Calmels’s heart, and the pebbles were collected from a wild and wonderful beach near the family’s East Sussex clifftop cottage. Childhood years spent beachcombing and collecting everything from discarded shells and seabird feathers to driftwood and sea glass led to an enduring interest in nature and the conservation of our magnificent coastal heritage.

Those childhood finds inspired a love of individual things, formed naturally, and so the second wave of items in the collection, available from November includes a series of rough-hewn beads, gemstone chips, natural pearls, coral, and sea glass, all transformed into charms held on hand-tied silver and gold vermeil wire. These fit perfectly with the natural pebble shapes and offer endless styling possibilities.

Then to continue the natural theme, in the New Year, we’ll be adding silver and gold vermeil charms including creatures found in rockpools, shells, and coastal flora and fauna, all cast from hand-formed wax carvings.
